Come...Sit...Stay

So September was a big month. Miss Lucy has mastered sitting and LOVES to sit on her own. For hours. And she doesn't want help - she prefers to sit unassisted and stick various things in her mouth - really whatever is nearby. So far, she has sampled all of her toys, cooper's hand and samson's ear. She isn't picky. Cooper, on the other hand, really isn't that into sitting - he prefers to lounge. Don't get me wrong, he CAN sit, he just prefers to lounge on the bobby pillow and stare at the ceiling fan. I think he is practicing for his teenage years when he will lounge on the couch and stare at the football game on TV (no Suz, we won't let him watch too long). We continue to marvel at how each of their little personalities are developing. We are loving this stage - they giggle at everything and aren't mobile - it is the BEST!

September was a big month for D and I as well - as we took our first overnight trip away from Coop and Lucy when we went to Buffalo. Hank and Suz were troopers - no, not only the fact that they watched the babes, but the fact that they answered the phone every two hours when I called to check in. I eased up some the second day. Everyone survived, but I think they were ready to give them back. Thanks again to Granny and Papaw!

Speaking of grandparents - we are looking forward to the Zavodny's visit in October. Lucy and Cooper can't wait to see you!
